Fantastic $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

An imaginative landscape chart generated in the CC3+ software platform.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

Complete Collection

For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:

  • Advanced Terrain Generator
  • Dungeon Creation Tool
  • Urban Planning Software
  • Cosmographer 3
  • Viewpoint Enhancement
  • Dioramas 3

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Charitable Component

Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
